The Bush administration launched war against Iraq on March 20, 2003. Why did Mr. Bush launch the war is still a mystery to the whole world? Iraq had no nuclear weapon nor was it trying to make atom bomb. This was the observation of the official team of UN observers.

In USA as well as in other countries there were demonstrations against the attack on Iraq and demand for restoration of peace. Bush never paid any attention to the world opinion and continued to send army to Iraq. The situation in Iraq has become very grave.

In USA the mid-term elections were held on Nov. 7, 2006 to elect members of House of Representatives (435) and those of senate (100). These two houses constitute the Congress (Parliament) of U.S.A. The Republicans lost the majority. The verdict of the election was a clear. The verdict of the election was a clear rejection of the policies followed by Bush in general and in particular that of his war in Iraq.

I hope that the new Congress will try its best to restore law and order and peace in Iraq. This will be in the interest of world peace in accordance with the spirit of UNO.

As the reports go, by now 2800 American Soldiers have been killed in Iraq. We can very well imagine the number of the people of Iraq killed in the war.

Iraq is Shaking today. Is there anybody to hold it? Will the war not end? Will the whole of Iraq become a mass of dust and ashes?

What did USA gain by attacking Iraq? It lost 2800 soldiers and killed in large number the innocent people of Iraq. Moreover, billions of dollars were spent uselessly on war which might have been spent on the welfare of the people of America.

In Short, the administration of Bush created more enemies than friends for America. The people have given their judgement in the election of the Congress.
