Following the recent twin bomb blasts in Hyderabad, the Maharashtra police has started a combing operation in Muslim concentration areas of Mumbai and its suburbs and picked up a dozen Muslim youths for interrogation. A senior inspector at Saki Naka police station said his team raided several houses at midnight in the areas of Indira Nagar, Azad Nagar etc. and arrested about two dozen youths for interrogation. Later, all were released. The inspector said the purpose of this raid was to collect information about illegal activities in the area. On the contrary, the people especially youth of the area are forced to leave their houses and spend the night elsewhere.
