Three complaints have been lodged on 28th April in two different police stations of Delhi against the Diamond Comics’ World (Hindi) which has published the derogatory sentences and objectionable imaginary cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessing of Allah be to him) in its recent issue but the editor of the comics explained that it is 6-7 years old issue.

Mr Shakil Saifi, the chairman of “Akhil Bhartiya Muslim Yuva Atankwad Virodhi Samiti” made a written complaint in Nihal Vihar Police Station while Azeem Jilani of “Barhte Qadam” and Mr Amanatullah, a social activist have made two separate complaints in Jamia Nagar police station against Gulshan Rai, owner of ‘Diamond Comics’. According to the sources, the South Delhi Police has written a letter to the Home Department of the Delhi Government and seeking permission to lodge an FIR against the Owner of the Diamond Comics.

The people came for complaint in Jamia Nagar Police Station against the blasphemous act said that they demand the centre and the state governments to take drastic actions against such people so that no one in future would dare to repeat such unholy words. Many other important persons and scholars with one voice condemned the owner of Diamond Comics and demanded that government should destroy all copies in which such objectionable matter has been printed.
