Corruption has become the way of life. Corruption is rampant in politics, legislature, executive, media and even judiciary. Almost all the national and regional political parties are more or less corrupt. Charges of corruption were levelled against their leaders and ministers and cases of corruption are going on against them in courts.
Eleven MPs, including 6 of BJP, were shown on T.V. taking bribe more for raising questions in the House in a sting operation. Both the Houses of Parliament had expelled these corrupt tainted MPs. But they did not get stringent punishments. Corrupt people like Sukh Ram, Kalmadi, George Fernandez, Bangru Laxman, Amravati, Madhu Koda, A. Raja, Jailalita, Lalu Prasad, Mulayam Singh, Yedurappa, etc. have been amassing illegal assets and wealth. They should be prosecuted and awarded stringent punishments. Corruption, particularly in high places, will destroy not only democracy and constitution but would endanger India’s unity and integrity. Faith in Almighty God and accountability before Him is also very essential to kill the monster of corruption.
