There is no dearth of scapegoats in ‘secular’ India. After all, ‘someone’ should be captured or encountered to close the crime file in the police records, whenever a terrorist act happens in Malegaon or Hyderabad. The travesty of truth being that the terrorist invariably happens to be a Muslim. So, each time Muslims are killed in bomb blasts, police cracks the case in no time, by killing or arresting the likes of Ghulam Yezdani, Shahid Bilal or Shoaib Jagirdar. The media too stands hungry for sensational news, readily buys the police version to portray the spicy concocted nail-biting stories as how the Muslim youth crossed the borders in the east or west, got trained, to kill the people of their own community.
But why no arrests were made when some Bajrang Dal activists got killed when the bombs they were trying to make exploded accidentally in Nanded? Why probe was not conducted when some fake beards were found at the Malegaon blast site? Why the crooks who killed hundreds of innocent Muslims in Gujarat are roaming free even after five years of their felony? These are cries in the wilderness!
