Cases of rape and gang-rape are shockingly on increase. They make news headlines almost on daily basis. These headlines depict a picture of the society we live in. They present how morally depraved our society has now turned. The only way to remedy this disquieting situation is to inculcate the deeply ingrained moral and spiritual values taught by the Lord Creator. Such moral lessons must be part of school curriculum. Non-governmental organisations and civil society must come to the fore to exert pressure on the government to introduce moral lessons in syllabi.
