Apropos of the debate on ‘Homosexuality’ (Radiance 22-28 December). The recent verdict of the Apex Court on homosexuality came as a shock for all those who side with laxity, obscenity and laissez-faire attitude towards sexual affairs. We do not find this unnatural tendency even in animals. One’s congenital disease is not a justification to spoil other’s life. Today they are legalising gay sex and tomorrow they will permit sex with animals as is practised in some sex clubs. The constitutional provisions against discrimination on grounds of sex are wrongly interpreted, as the word ‘sex’ stood for ‘gender’ and not for ‘sexual act’.
Eunuchs, Gays and Lesbians are detected with venereal diseases. Sex discipline, check over LGBT syndrome and responsible behaviour of the society are a must for a healthy society. Sex or love without responsibility is destructive for the family system which is the backbone of a strong nation. There is also need for counselling of all who fall in the category of LGBT. Stringent law can be helpful if the LGBT syndrome becomes an epidemic!
