We are in difficult times indeed when established moral principles are being questioned, criticised and rejected. The saving grace is that it is being done not by general masses but by a minuscule minority of morally corrupt and mentally confused people. Such is the case of the bankrupt intellectuals who are pleading for legalising homosexual relations. These people prefer to call these sexual perverts gays and lesbians. They are supporting this unnatural sexual behaviour under the pretext of freedom of choice and basic human rights.
This so-called sexual preference is abnormal, unnatural, against the will of God, and destructive of the very purpose for which this capability has been bestowed upon human beings. Those who are suffering from this reprehensible choice do not deserve our support but require our sympathy, so that they may be treated and cured of this mental disease.
To quote the Holy Qur’ān, those who, in the matter of sexual satisfaction, desire something other than the natural way, are transgressors who cross the limits set by Allah and thus disturb the scheme of nature, and open the doors of disintegration of family resulting in the destruction of society itself.
Supporters of this immorality plead that they should be given freedom at least to practise this. This practice is just like moral suicide. Do we, in our society, allow some frustrated person to commit physical suicide. No, we do not. On the contrary, we try to remove his frustration and make him lead a moral life. Same should be our attitude towards these sexual perverts.
Unfortunately capitalism is again on the rise and the sharks of market economy are out to exploit every weakness of human beings to fill their coffers. These are the people who promote sexual anarchy, pornography, indecent fashion, immoral culture, illicit sex, drugs and what not. The same capitalists are acting as traders of death and promoters of murder when they run multi-billion dollars arms trade and stoke fires of war in the world.
An all out war on these elements is the need of the hour.
