Dawah Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind organised iftar at two different locations in New Delhi for the countrymen. The arrangement for iftar was done with the help and assistance of Dr. Tauzihuddin Siddiqui and Mr. RS Adil, Advocate. The Secretary of the Department, Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Mulla and Mr. Ali Shah Shoeb addressed the invitees on the topic of fasting and Ramadhan.
The Secretary spoke about the wisdom of fasting and said that humans get life only once in this world and hence we should spend it on finding out the right path and then tread it for the rest of the life for success here and the hereafter. Both the iftars were attended by the educated youths in a large number. At the end of the iftar Islamic books in Hindi and other literature on Islam along with folders were distributed. The feedback received was also satisfactory and the attendees pressed for more such programmes in the near future so as to build relationship.
