Divyodaya, the Inter-Religious Centre of Coimbatore, organised a Peace and Harmony Program at the Divyodaya Auditorium here Wednesday. The event served as a platform for interfaith leaders to converge and engage in discussions surrounding peace and social harmony across religions.

Distinguished interfaith leaders participated, fostering dialogue and understanding among diverse religious communities. Notably, more than a hundred students from various schools actively took part in this event, emphasizing the engagement of the younger generation in promoting communal harmony.

Abdul Hakkim, JIH Tamil NaduSecretary, delivered a poignant speech. He highlighted that for peace and harmony to prevail in India, there must be a collective effort to establish justice in society. He emphasized that the path to justice is intricately linked with the path to peace, emphasizing the significance of multi-religious discussions in achieving these goals.

The event also witnessed the presence of Thajudeen, in-charge of the Knowledge Centre, and Sabir Ahmad, Media Secretary of JIH Tamil Nadu, underscoring the collaborative and inclusive nature of the program.
