Allah’s Messenger(peace and blessings of Allah be to him) said,“Each child is born in a state of Fitrah, then his parents make him a Jew, Christian or a Zoroastrian….”

Abu Hurairahrelated this hadīth fromthe Messenger,then recited the verse,“Turn your face single-mindedly to the true Faith and adhere to the true nature on which Allah has created human beings. The mould fashioned by Allah cannot be altered. That is the True, Straight Faith, although most people do not know.”(Qur’ān 30:30)
This hadīth means that every person is naturally disposed to believe in Islam but it has to be taught by actions. Therefore, whoever is predestined by Allah to enjoy happiness, Allah will subject someone who will teach them the way of guidance, and thus it will be paved for them; and whoever is predestined to be of the wretched, Allah will subject to them someone who changes their innate nature and dispirit them just like what is mentioned regarding the parents converting their son to Judaism, Christianity or Magianism.
But how all people can be expected to believe in Allah given their varying backgrounds, societies and cultures?” For people to be responsible for worshipping Allah, they all have to have access to knowledge of Allah. The final revelation teaches that all people have the recognition of Allah imprinted on their souls, a part of their very nature with which they are created. Thus, every child is born with a natural belief in Allah and an inborn inclination to worship Him alone.
