Arvind Kejriwal, at the close of a recent interview in Varanasi to NDTV 24×7-TV, was asked: “What you will do if you are defeated?” He answered: “God will show us the way,” which looks extraordinary, given the current vitiated election campaign, with leaders attacking and abusing wildly their opposition, without any discretion. I wish his faith will guide him throughout his fight on way to swaraj and suraj for the common man of our great nation.
Unfortunately, the mainstream media is playing second fiddle to crony capitalism, with lip service to responsible and unbiased coverage of alternative points of view.
When Gandhiji himself desired for India a plural and tolerant rule like the one that existed under the four Rightly Guided Caliphs of Islam, why does the entire media, even in India, marches behind hatemongers and extra-constitutional organisations indirectly?
Why is there a hue and cry only when a minority citizen gives a hate speech, even after he apologises for it, while even the executers of hate crimes are let off as if they have done nothing wrong at all?
When Kejriwal was quizzed in “India Today’s Conclave 2014”, about his foreign policy, repeatedly and particularly towards Pakistan, he asserted that it will be one of ‘peace’ and ‘on mutually reciprocal basis’ with ‘all’.
This equality is not tolerable today for ‘crony capitalists, both at our national and global levels’. Both can’t tolerate somebody talking to them in terms of equal and mutually reciprocal basis or on equally give and take basis.
Kejriwal was accused of assisting terrorists and terrorism when he demanded further enquiry into a so-called ‘terror encounter’ and after the above conclave, of assisting Pakistan. None except a CIA and MOSAD agent can resort to such horrible fault finding campaign.
Examine the case of crony capitalists at the global level, agents of CIA and MOSAD visiting Iran, dozens of times during the last 20 years, on the pretext of checking its non-civilian atomic programme and in the guise of IAEA, and every time certifying that there is nothing incriminating, but their heads of states either threatening that “everything, including pre-emptive attack on Iran, is on table” or saying “Iran is within months or weeks of making atom bomb”.
Even the PM of Israel, which is solely in possession of nuclear arsenal in ME, which never signed NPT, nor allowed inspection of its nuclear facilities, has the audacity to show ‘cartoon bomb’, to the UN members explaining the stages, demonstrating, ‘how fast Iran is going to acquire nuclear weapons’.
On the other hand, the Iranian heads of state repeatedly declared that it is not Islamic to use nuclear weapons and as such they are confident of defending against any eventuality with their conventional weaponry and that their nuclear programme is exclusively civilian in nature.
Naturally no crony capitalist will like relations either on reciprocal basis or on equal basis due to his vanity.
