Egypt, the most populous Arab nation, is passing through its most challenging existential crisis. Its citizens are being mercilessly slaughtered by a thoroughly brutalised military which is devoid of any human feelings. The civilized world is watching in horror the daily dance of death in which men, women and children are being shot and killed like flies and insects.
This cruel destruction of a great country is being watched by the US imposed enemy Israel and its wily rulers with a sense of deep satisfaction and happiness. Their agenda of realising their dream of Greater Israel is being carried out.
America, the self-appointed champion of liberty, protector of human rights and promoter of democracy, is constantly refusing to call a coup a coup and merely issuing statements which amount to dishonest lip service and are further exposing the selfish motives of US policymakers.
In this existential crisis of great magnitude for the Islamic world the most unfortunate and condemnable attitude has been adopted by the Arab rulers and kings, even by those who claim to be the standard bearers of Islam and protectors of holy shrines. They may be unhappy with the bloodshed and subjugation of Islamic elements but are so badly in the clutches of America that they feel forced to toe the US line. Their attitude, their statements and their congratulatory messages to the new Pharaohs of Egypt have only exposed that they are more concerned with protecting their narrow selfish interests than serving the cause of Islam.
God-given wealth, an amanah of the Ummah, is now being showered on the new Pharaohs. Can there be a greater tragedy in the Islamic world that the very claimants of being the servants of Islam are destroying the very edifice of Islam by supporting the worst tyrants born out of the womb of Pharaonic hegemony?
Nobody can predict how long the dark night of Islam-haters will continue and how long the brethren will suffer, but one thing seems to be certain that the Islamic revolution will, sooner or later, knock at the doors of those who are opposing the collective will of Ummah. Then, who will protect them from the consequences of their selfish deeds?
Ikhwanis are being tested and tried again and again, since their emergence in 1928. They have the inbuilt capacity to withstand the present crises also. It is destined that the Pharaohs have to go and Islam is certain to triumph. The only question is when? Certainly help will come from Whom we belong, in Whom we trust, and Whose help we seek.
Mata Nasrullah? When will Allah’s Help arrive?
Alaainna Nasrallahi Qareeb! Be assured, Allah’s help is close by!
