The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi is now engaged in a new tamasha. After the end of Anna Hazare’s fast, it seems, this Gujarati is going on what is called – a  Sad-bhavana fast. Yes, it is a Sad… fast, very sad, a fast to throw dust in the eyes of Indians. This is political manoeuvring by a political acrobat. He wants to gain popularity at the expense of Hazare’s fast and to gain further footing in the BJP central committee and to obtain support from his extremism-loving Hindutva organisation.

Aides of anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare have described his tamasha as an activity for ‘personal political gain’.  They also hit at this Gujarati’s supporters including Advani; made statements and said that India does not need more ‘yatras’ and fast.

As a matter of fact, Indians want effective steps to fight corruption, both financial and political and not yatras and fasts.  Some of the prominent team Anna members have openly said that if the fast was done for political gains and involved spending government money by this Gujarati then it should be branded as corruption.

The main character of the cartoon strip ‘Acronym Abdullah’, a cartoon that is frequently published in Radiance Viewsweekly,  is saying that this Gujarati Chief Minister is involved in “DOUBLE 2G” scam, meaning 4G Scam. He is being supported by political “Goons, Gangsters and Greedy Gujaratis”.
