Four Persons Killedin Mob Lynching Incident in Bihar

Aurangabad SP Swapna Gautam Meshram said there was a scuffle for parking between Palamu residents and a shopkeeper. There was a heated exchange of words which turned violent and a bystander,identified as 65-year-old Ramsharan Chauhan, was shot dead by a bullet fired from a pistol.

Three Muslim men – Mohammad Mujahid Rayeen (35), Mohmmad Anzar (37) and Mohammad Arman (30) – lost their life in a mob lynching case at Tetariya More under Nabinagar police station of Aurangabad district on Monday. Two others Wakeel Ansari and Ajit Sharma who were with the three got injured in the mob attack.

While the first two died on the spot, Arman succumbed to his injuries in Sadar Hospital, Aurangabad.

The deceased and the injured belonged to Bhai Bigha of Haider Nagar village in Jharkhand’s Palamu district.

One report says the bullet was fired from the car the Palamu residents were traveling in. While the injured car owner says the bullet was fired from somewhere else but the villagers thought it was they who fired the bullet.

Many social media users claimed that they were killed because they were Muslims as Ajit Sharma was let go by the mob.
