The recent whirlwind tour of US President Donald Trump to the Middle East has brought the Palestinian question to the centre stage. The British Empire’s conspiracy and creation of the state of Israel in 1948 has destabilised the Middle East permanently. Israel is being used by America as its proxy and pointsman of the American Empire. Israel has been acting as the protector of American interests in the Middle East. At the same time, it has been busy in implementing its dream project of the so-called Greater Israel.
Trump’s tour of the three most powerful and richest Arab states was basically an investment-hunting tour. He has succeeded in his project. The countries he visited welcomed him with “their heart, and mind and soul”. He has succeeded in getting two to three billion dollar investment from these counties. Besides this he secured orders for military hardware and weapons in large quantities. Trump made an hour long speech in Riyadh, in ‘Saudi-US Investment Forum’, on May 12 in which he dealt with many important issues. The hosts welcomed him wholeheartedly and it gave the impression as if the Emperor was being welcomed by his appointed faithful rulers. In Riyadh conference there was a big crowd of nobles who were heartily applauding. Even the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman was frequently clapping enthusiastically. Whenever Trump mentioned Salman, the latter acknowledged it by touching his heart with one or both hands.
These festivities were happening when a few hundred miles away the Gaza’s 23 lakh people were passing through the hardest period of their years long genocide. The Israeli regime, being ruled by the joint incarnation of two infamous dictators Hitler and Mussolini, was constantly and mercilessly bombing the helpless, ill-clothed and emaciated human skeletons who have been denied all sorts of humanitarian aid, including food and medicine.
Trump, in his speeches, not even once mentioned the Gaza population, which has been subjected to the worst savagery and atrocities.
It can be understood that Mr. Trump was on a dollar-hunting missionbut what happened to the Islamic fraternal feelings of the Arab rulers who never cared to draw the attention of the most powerful president of the world to end the genocide. The Muslim world wants to know if this is the love and mercy which Islam preaches.
This careless attitude of Muslim rulers does not go unnoticed. History will never forgive us if we do not speak against the irresponsible attitude of the rulers of US, UK, Germany, Italy and other western democracies. Even if history forgets the condemnable attitude of these rulers, Almighty Allah will never forgive them. Just think what a miracle could have happened if the amount of 400 million dollars of the Golden Luxury Plane which was gifted to Trump would have been given to the 22 lakh Gazans who are just at the brink of death?
The Arabs feel proud to be the standard bearers of Islam and its teachings. So also feels the Muslim ummah. They should have been in the forefront of protecting human life and fighting against injustice and atrocities. Is it not the greatest tragedy of the ummah that it is not even ready to stop atrocities even in the Islamic world.
Those who claim to be the protectors of the human rights andupholders of justice from the western democracies should also think how they can stop the lingering genocide which is being perpetrated by their ally Israel.
The negligent rulers of the western democracies stand condemned for their insensitivity. Will the western rulers feel their responsibility? When will they become true human beings? How long will it take to change our “Animal Farm” into a “Human World”.
