The recently released report by the British Medical Journal, Lancet has shocked the whole world that the number of direct and indirect deaths perpetrated by Israel in Gaza comes at 1.86 lakh. The most destructive and inhuman war, which has broken all known records of horror, has completed nine months. In spite of worldwide condemnation and opposition by all sections of people, the terrorist State of Israel is not relenting at all. The genocide continues.
The basic reason for this war of attrition is the atrocious nature of Zionist mentality which is built on anti-human, venomous and fascist tendencies which are bereft of even an iota of mercy and sympathy. Israel’s attitude since its conspiratorial establishment in 1948 has been manifested by it in its 75 years long daily atrocities on the original inhabitants of occupied Palestine. The most solid support to all these atrocities has been provided by the self-acclaimed “champion of liberty”, the United States of America. The sick mentality is in turn based on the deadliest selfish theory that all humans are not equal and that a powerful state has the fundamental right to do anything, wage any war or destroy any country for its ‘national interests’. The US administration has been doing this since the World War I and more particularly after the World War II. America wants to control and possess the oil reserves of the Middle East. The infamous war on Iraq and its complete destruction also was the result of this insatiable greed for wealth and power. It is further manifested in the oft-manifested policy of the US that Israel is essential for controlling the regimes as well as the resources of the Middle East. Israel is the largest proxy of the US which has been and always would be doing the bidding of the US.
It is highly condemnable that the US-controlled undemocratic regimes in the Middle East are suffering from a slavish tendency and are always prepared to go to any length to sell their self-respect and independence to serve the US agenda. That is why the Middle East regimes do not allow their citizens to even show their resentment against the US-supported Israeli atrocities.
The so-called Abraham Accord also was devised by the US to make Israel’s atrocities more acceptable.The US administration, whosoever heads it, Biden or Trump, will always support Israeli terrorist regime and supply lethal weapons to Israel. It does not matter whether the killer bombs are 2000 pounders or 500 pounders.
As regards the public opinion, it is against Israel. It has been seen all over the western world. People want an end to Israeli atrocities and are for creation of Palestine State. There are clear signs that the recent changes in the UK and France also favor creation of a Palestine State and protection of rights of original inhabitants of Palestine and end of Israeli atrocities. We have to see what unfolds in near future which may usher in an era of peace and freedom for the freedom-loving and traumatized people of Gaza, occupied territories and subjugated Palestine. Peace does not seem possible unless justice is done and Israelis brought under control.
