Jaipur, Jan. 18:

Social worker Pappu Qureshi has set up a help center in the city’s Bhatta Basti, to provide benefits of government schemes for the poor under one roof. Adarsh Nagar MLA Rafeek Khan, Kishanpol MLA Amin Kagzi, and Jaipur District Congress Committee President R.R. Tiwari inaugurated this center on Thursday.

Pappu Qureshi said most of the people living in this area are poor, illiterate, and working-class people from the Muslim community. Due to lack of knowledge of government schemes, the poor do not get the benefit of these schemes. To avail government schemes and apply for them, many times you have to go to different offices. This also wastes time and money, and people get frustrated and do not get the benefit of the scheme due to the slow government working system. Daily wage laborers do not even have time to leave their work and go to government offices.

Qureshi said now this help center has been set up to provide free facilities for the poor to avail of government schemes.

Congress District President R.R. Tiwari appreciated Qureshi’s initiative, saying that soon instructions will be given to all block presidents of the city Congress Committee in this regard and such help centers will be opened in all blocks.

MLA Rafeek Khan said this is a very good initiative, and promised to provide cooperation at the administrative level.

Kishnpol MLA Amin Kagzi said such an initiative will be done in Kishanpol assembly so that all people’s necessary documents can be made free and easily. He said instructions will be issued to the administrative officers to cooperate in this work.

On this occasion, councilor Ahsan Qureshi, Zahid Nirwan, councilor representative Ilyas Khan, president of Muslim Parishad Sansthan Yunus Chopdar, and other dignitaries were present.
