The gruesome twin murder of Noida teenager Arushi and the Talwars’ domestic help Hemraj has raised many eyebrows. With each passing day a new story keeps on emerging. The Police claim to have made new breakthroughs, as people across the nation wince in horror and shock. Illicit relations within the family are said to have led to the crime. In the absence of any conclusive evidence and the still-missing elusive murder weapon we can only make conjectures as the case turns into a whodunit. Despite the media frenzy and police investigations, this case is just one of many such high-profile cases where the culprits are hardly brought to book. After the initial sensation and hype the interest fizzles out. The Nitish Katara case, the Scarlett Keeling murder and innumerable others like this one initially fuelled a lot of interest and speculation, but seem nowhere near being solved. Will the Arushi case also meet the same fate and the mystery will not be unravelled quickly? Because justice delayed is justice denied.
