Hats off to Supreme Court

It seems Singh was deliberately arrested under some pressure that forced ED to make a false case against him. Nevertheless, the Apex Court found no truth of his involvement in the so-called liquor scam as alleged by the ED.

Hats off to the Supreme Court for granting bail to Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party MP, Sanjay Singh. The said MP had been kept behind bars for 182 days for no fault of his involvement in Delhi’s liquor scam as alleged by the Enforcement Directorate before the Supreme Court.

It seems Singh was deliberately arrested under some pressure that forced ED to make a false case against him. Nevertheless, the Apex Court found no truth of his involvement in the so-called liquor scam as alleged by the ED.

At last, the Supreme Court gave a clean chit to the AAP MP which not only proves that no one is above the law of the land. It also wins the hearts and hopes of the masses to celebrate India’s democracy.  Hopefully, sooner or later the Supreme Court will also grant bail to AAP Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other opposition leaders who were arrested earlier under similar circumstances.

In aSaharanpur election rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the Congress manifesto bears “a Muslim League imprint” and part ofit is dominated by the Leftists. He also said theINDIA bloc has become synonymous with instability and uncertainty andthe people of the country were not taking it seriously.

He further took a jibe at the Congress Party’s poll documents, callingthem“bundles of lies”. Addressing the rally in Saharanpur, Modi said,“The kind of manifesto the Congress released recently, reflected the same thinking that was prevalent in the Muslim League at the time ofindependence.”

On the other hand, Mr. Stalin,Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, while addressing an election rally in Chidambaram, cautioned the people against ushering the RSS regime in the country by voting the BJP

back to power. He said,“RSSwill run India if Modi returns to power.”

Accusing Mr. Modiof indulging in a series of corruption, he pointed to arecent newspaper article that has listed out corrupt politicians who were absolved of theircrimes after they joined theBJP and said that the ‘guarantee’ that Mr.Modi was promising was about the BJP’s washing machine that would removeall the stains of corruption.

UAE’s Double-dealing on Killing of Aid Workers in Gaza

The UAE has reportedly cut diplomatic coordination with Israel in response to the killing of seven aid workers by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza. The fact is that the UAE has practiced double-dealing while halting diplomatic relations with Israel over the killing of seven aid workers in Gaza, but not condemning the mindless killing of thousands and thousands of Palestinians since Israel launched its brutal war on Gaza. The fact that today, the death toll from Israel’s relentless and merciless campaign has reached over 33,000 did not melt the UAE leader’s heart.

The UAE is part of the countries that signed the US-brokered Abraham Accord deals to normalize ties with Israel in September 2020.Al Jazeera reported last year that the signing of the Abraham Accord has benefited the UAE “with 450,000 Israelis visiting the UAE between January 2021 and January 2023 and Israeli companies doing business in the Gulf country as well.”
