Hyderabad Youth Mirror (HYM), a Hyderabad-based new English magazine meant for youngsters, has been launched by Prof. Suleman Siddiqui, former Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, at an event organised at Pottisriramulu Telugu University in Nampally on 24 August. The quarterly magazine aims to address issues concerning college-goers and youth, and stir their emotions to do good and abstain from bad and evil.
While addressing the audience, Prof. Siddiqi pointed out that youth must stick to determination, dedication, hard work and honesty for success. He advised students to choose courses from sciences and social sciences to pursue higher studies, and asked them not to confine themselves to a few professional degrees.
HYM Editor SM Fasiullah says: “Our magazine is one of the numerous initiatives required to inspire youth and guide them towards right path and goals. It will primarily cover relevant issues and topics for the benefit of youth. Our purpose is to make them good human beings and valuable asset of the society.”
