IAFIE INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR PG DIP IN ISLAMIC FINANCE

The Kerala chapter of the Indian Association for Islamic Economics (IAFIE) will conduct a 10-month programme in Post-Graduate Diploma in Islamic Economics and Finance (PGDIEF) at Al Jamia Al Islamiyya, Pattikkadu, in Malappuram district.

The Kerala chapter of the Indian Association for Islamic Economics (IAFIE) will conduct a 10-month programme in Post-Graduate Diploma in Islamic Economics and Finance (PGDIEF) at Al Jamia Al Islamiyya, Pattikkadu, in Malappuram district.

The diploma is an integrated course which focuses on theoretical and applied aspects of the economic problems. It also involves the comparative analysis of conventional banking and finance and Islamic economics and finance. The students will be taught the history of the development of the discipline and its prospects. The curriculum comprises a month-long training programme, project report and a viva-voce at the end of the course.

Subjects taught are nature and principles of Islamic economics, basic economic measures in the Qur’an and Hadith, Islamic banking and insurance, Islamic finance, accountancy with computer application, functional Arabic, modern banking and finance and insurance.
