Ibn Al-hytham School Students Participate In Panipat Football Tournament

A team of 16 students, mostly of Indian origin, led by Mr. Khaliqur Rahman, sports teacher, Ibn Al-Hytham Islamic School, Manama, Bahrain, and his assistant Mr. Khurram visited New Delhi last week.

A team of 16 students, mostly of Indian origin, led by Mr. Khaliqur Rahman, sports teacher, Ibn Al-Hytham Islamic School, Manama, Bahrain, and his assistant Mr. Khurram visited New Delhi last week. It was on a visit to India to participate in CBSC football tournament in DAV School, Panipat. The team members also visited worth seeing places in Delhi and Agra.

Mr. Rahman, talking to Radiance, said Ibn Al-Hytham Islamic School is running CBSE course in Islamic environment. “There is a happy blending of modern and Islamic subjects in the syllabi of the school. These pupils are good at sports and education both. Their entire nurturing is on Islamic footing,” he claimed. “The credit for this goes to Dr. Shakil Ahmed Azmi, Director and Chairman Administrative Committee of the school,” he added.
