The report reads like the record book of Devil and is potent enough to cause a heart attack to a thinking soul. Even the Devil would be ashamed to read about this heinous record of human depravation.

Common man feels that his life, honour and property is in constant danger. Women feel more insecure and children have become more vulnerable.

This is an acknowledged fact that our judicial system is inefficient and corruption has crept into it. As regards the law enforcing establishment the less said the better. Criminality, injustice and corruption have struck deep roots in it. A thorough overhaul of these departments is urgently needed.

More attention should be given to removing the causes of crimes than to punishing the criminals. Inculcation of fear of God, accountability to Him, knowledge of our elevated status as human beings and vicegerents of God can surely produce a heightened sense of responsibility in the hearts and minds of citizens. It is the minds of men in which crimes are born, therefore defences against crimes should be built there.

Liberal portrayal of sex and violence in films and Media’s irresponsible. reporting of crimes is also responsible. Therefore these two important institutions Also should be reined in. Will the civil society stand up and take the challenge before it is too late?
