4 HINDU MAHASABHA LEADERS WHO PLOTTED COW SLAUGHTER IN AGRA ARRESTED

The Agra Police has detained four Hindu Mahasabha office bearers in connection with a plot to incite communal violence and disrupt peace in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra. India Today on April 8 reported that police revealed names of some members of the Bharat Hindu Mahasabha that surfaced in the cow slaughter plot.The cow was slaughtered during Ram Navami celebrations in Gautam Nagar of Etmaduddaula area to stoke communal unrest.

On April 7, Agra police detained Nakeem and Rizwan, while searching for two other youngsters, Shanu and Bittu, in connection with a cow slaughter incident in Gautam Nagar.

Nakeem and Rizwan told the police that they were instructed to slaughter cows at the behest of Hindu Mahasabha leaders Sanjay Jat, Saurabh Sharma, Jitendra Kushwaha and Brajesh Bhadauria.

According to ACP RK Singh, the cow slaughter was carried out by Naqeem and his associates but it was a plot by Hindu Mahasabha member Sanjay Jat and others to create communal unrest in the city. These four officials have been arrested and sent to jail, India Today report added.

RSS WORKER INJURED WHILE MAKING BOMB IN KERALA

A young man affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) reportedly suffered severe injuries after an explosion occurred during bomb-making near Eranjolipalam in Kerala’s Kannur district in the night of April 11, a report said on April 15. Vishnu (20) had his palms shattered and scattered in the incident. He was rushed to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital for urgent medical attention. The explosion, which happened at around 12 o’clock on Tuesday night, took place in a field near Vishnu’s house while he was in the process of making a bomb.

After receiving first aid at the Kannur Chala Baby Memorial Hospital, Vishnu was transferred to Kozhikode with fatal injuries on his hand and body. Police are currently investigating whether anyone else was injured in the blast.

Locals reported hearing a noise a few days prior to the incident in the same location as the explosion. They also mentioned that during the Vishu festival, nobody noticed the blast due to the firecrackers, according to the Deshabhimani newspaper.This is the second incident in 30 days of Hindutva cadre suffering injuries while making bomb.

Santosh, a BJP worker in the Kakkayangad area of Kannur, was injured in a blast caused by an explosive bomb he kept in his own house. The explosion also injured Santosh’s wife, Lasitha. According to a report, the blast took place inside Santosh’s house located in the Muzhakkunnu police station area. Santosh was allegedly making a bomb when it exploded, injuring him and his wife.

SIX MUSLIMS ASSAULTEDINSIDE HARYANA MOSQUE, 10 HELD

As many as six Muslims in a mosque were attacked by a group of armed men in a Haryana village on April 9, the police said. The assailants also vandalised the property in the mosque, an injured person was reported as saying.The police have arrested ten people and filed a First Information Report (FIR) against 19 people in connection with the incident at Sandhal Kalan village in Sonipat district. The victims said that the worshippers who were performing Ramadhan prayers in a small mosque received injuries on their heads, legs and hands.

“Even children and women were also not spared by the group, who were armed with hockey sticks, swords and other sticks. Some of the injured people have been admitted to Sonipat government hospital,” said an injured person.Another victim told local reporters that there was no previous enmity or provocation for the incident.
