It needs only a little bit of common sense for one to conclude that inconsistencies in how a person thinks, talks and acts (i.e. in mano-wak-kaaya-karma) is unfortunately the precise and singular reason for all the turmoil, chaos or discord glaring at human race today and is known as ‘hypocrisy’.
As per a sahih hadith, “The signs of a hypocrite are four: when he talks, he speaks falsehood; when he promises, he breaks; when he is entrusted, he commits treachery; and when he argues, he uses abusive language.” Forget about ordinary men, today we find even top leaders like Barack Obama and Benjamin Netanyahu, fitting into these traits.
“There are some who say, ‘we believe in Allah and the Last Day,’ yet they are not believers. They seek to deceive Allah and the believers, but they only deceive themselves, though they do not realise it….. When they are told, ‘Do not cause corruption in the land,’ they say, ‘We are only promoters of peace,’ but it is they who are really causing corruption, though they do not realise it. And when they are told, ‘Believe as other people have believed,’ they say, ‘Are we to believe just as fools believe?’ Surely they are the fools, even though they do not realise it. When they meet those who believe, they say, ’We believe.’ But when they are alone with their evil leaders, they say, “We are really with you; We were only mocking.’ Allah will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (to and fro).(2:8-15).”
No surprise we have, today, all over the world such puppets of imposters, calling themselves Muslims and Muslim leaders.
Today, leave alone the US, UN and EU; none of the heads of Arab or Islamic countries except Turkey, Iran and Lebanon is speaking against the atrocities of Zionist Israel on civilians of Gaza, blocked from daily needs for over seven years, and repeatedly bombed on flimsy pretexts. These heads of state can within hours teach a lesson to these enemies of humanity in general and of Muslims in particular. Luxury has proved to be indeed a fitna for members of the Ummah who are helpless to unite and come to the rescue of suffering Palestinians, while the terrorist state gets at one shot $225 billion from the US, for its ‘iron dome’ alone.
However, always there existed a few fair intentions, expressions and corresponding actions by the righteous among all sections; similar to those we see today in expression of solidarity with innocent victims of Israeli bombings in the form of protest marches and meetings all over India and abroad, including by sincere Jewish Israeli citizens. This expression of solidarity with Palestinian victims is obviously motivated more as a moral duty by those expecting good will of One Master-Judge of entire humanity, rather than any narrow political or material consideration.
