“There should be close relations among the people who have right thinking of the Qur’ān and try to live according to prescribed norms and values of the Qur’ān. The movements motivated by the Qur’ān should be broadened and be made influential into the society by incorporating their efforts and co-operations among themselves,” said Maulana Tahir Madni, Rector Jamiatul Falah in the valedictory session of the 3-day International Qur’ānic Conference on “The relations with the Qur’ān: its importance and obligations” at Jamialtul Falah, Azam Garh, Uttar Pradesh on April 2.

The conference passed a resolution saying that there should be special emphasis on the teaching of the Qur’ān in all Madrasas and for this the method of teaching should be improved, so that the students are made true followers of the Qur’ān. This would enable them to deliver public speeches to disseminate the Qur’ānic teachings in society.

Maulana Salamatullah Islahi, Principal Jamiatul Falah, emphasised the importance of the dissemination of the message of the Qur’ān, and the collective efforts for eradication of the misconception of people about the Qur’ān. He urged that a batch of talented students should be prepared for field work for this work.

Maulana Rashid Ayyub Islahi, London, presented his paper on “The Principles of Understanding the Qur’ān” and said that it is the distinction of these two Institutions, Jamiatul Falah and Madrasatul-Islah, that they lay their emphasis on understanding the basic spirit of Qur’ān and do not depend on any particular Tafseer representing any particular school of thought.
