Behrouz Alishiri, Head of Organisation For Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran said more than 100 foreign countries are to take part in the one-day meeting which will focus on such issues as the legal framework for foreign investments in Iran, the private sector policies and strategies and the regulations and policies of Iranian stock market. He said companies from Thailand, Belgium, Japan, Denmark, Russia, Austria, South Korea, Turkey, Czech Republic, India, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the US will participate in the event. According to the official, participants will review issues pertaining to such fields as petrochemical products, auto and auto parts manufacturing, construction, tourism, steel production, energy, telecommunications, food industries, agriculture, fisheries and medicine. A total of 200 Iranian and foreign companies, active in both private and public sectors will be present in the seminar.
