Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has accused the United States, Israel, and European powers of waging a full-scale war against Iran, warning of a stronger response if new attacks take place. His remarks came amid rising regional tension and ahead of a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump.

In an interview published on the official platform linked to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Pezeshkian said external powers seek to prevent Iran from standing on its own feet. He described the pressure campaign as a complex and sustained conflict that goes beyond direct military strikes.

Pezeshkian said Iran’s armed forces remain prepared despite economic and political pressure. He stated that military strength, equipment, and manpower stand stronger than during earlier attacks by Israel and the US. He warned that any fresh assault would meet a decisive response.

The president compared the present situation with the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s. He said the current conflict involves economic sanctions, political isolation, and military threats at the same time, making it harder to confront.

Tensions have remained high since Israel and the US launched strikes on Iranian military and nuclear facilities six months ago. Iran reported over 1,000 casualties from those attacks. France, Germany, and the UK later supported renewed UN sanctions linked to Iran’s nuclear programme.
