Let me congratulate you for the article of Dr. Waquar Anwar ‘Islamic Banking is not Blemish Free’ (Radiance 13-19 March, 2011). One needs to look at the so-called Islamic banking and its activities. It needs a paradigm shift to equity participation. As far as Muslims all over Muslim world are concerned, they need a strong ‘qarde-hasnah’ way of financial assistance for self-employment and creating their micro-capital as early as possible. I liked the expression in the article that the only common thing between conventional banks and Islamic Bank is the word ‘bank’.
May I suggest that you publish the articles of Dr. Anwar on the topic in a book form?
