The definition of civilization is “A society in an advanced state of social development”.
More than 1200 people have been killed in the last 21 days, not affecting the civilized nations a bit. The international community is just standing by and watching – people have gone deaf and forgotten how to speak.
Those being killed are people like us – they have feelings and emotions like us. They feel physical pain and fatigue like us. They want to live a normal life like us. These are people who have not done anything and do not deserve to be killed in such an ugly way. What is taking place is not a war – it is genocide. It all comes down to the poignant thought … are we really a civilized society?
