JAMAAT AMEER RECEIVES NO THREAT LETTER

Mujtaba Farooq, Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has denied the news published in some newspapers that Jamaat Ameer Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari had received a threat from the so-called ‘Indian Mujahideen’.

Some newspapers published the news that the so-called Indian Mujahideen had sent letters to several heads of Muslim organisations and Muslims Ulama, including Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Umari, threatening them not to denounce its terrorist activities.

In a statement on May 22, Mr Farooq confirmed, “As far as the Jamat Ameer is concerned, it should be loud and clear that he didn’t receive any threat letter from anyone.”
