The delegation presented a detailed report to the Governor. The report mentions that on March 6 a police party forcibly tried to extort money from the livestock traders of Rahatgarh. The traders refused to budge under the police pressure and did not yield to their demands. This led to violent clashes between the police and the traders. The large part of the city still reels under police terror.
