The department of Dawa, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, on 1 September, organised a Table Talk with Dalit intellectuals at the Jamaat headquarters in the national capital. The main purpose of the talk was to find a way-out from being exploited by different governmental and non-governmental agencies. The participant vowed to play a vital role in the positive progress and growth of the country. Dr. Mohammad Rafat, while talking on the occasion, said that it is our collective duty and not only of the government to uproot evils from the society.
