Condemning the recent brutal and inhumane attacks on the innocents of Palestine, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind urged the Israeli government to put an end to it with immediate effect. In a press statement, the JIH Secretary General termed the creation of Israel in the heart of the Muslim land as an unethical move played by the then powers that be. He further said by committing such acts Israel tries to show its presence however this will neither wipe out the fact that the innocent Palestinians have been thrown out of their lands and are forced to live their lives outside their lands nor will it cause any reduction in the intensity of the struggle for the rights of the people of Palestine. He demanded that the United Nations should come forward and take all possible actions to stop the killings and ensure peace in the area.
He further appealed to the Muslim countries and the members of the OIC to extend a helping hand to the Palestinians in this testing situation. He even urged the Government of India to take some stern steps regarding the foreign policy with Israel so as to bring peace to the world.
