Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Maulana Syed Jalaluddin Omari congratulated the Freedom and Justice Party, political wing of Ikhwanul Muslimoon and other Muslim organisations for their clear-cut victory in the recent elections in Egypt. He even congratulated the people of Egypt and expressed hope of enlightenment and good governance for the people who from a very long time have been under the cruel and despotic regime. The Jamaat leader paid tribute to the leaders and torch-bearers of Ikhwan and Freedom and Justice Party and thousands of Muslim men and women who from the past half a century have been trying their level best to raise the flag of Islam and have been laying their lives to make the word of Allah highest.
Maulana Omari, who holds the credit of writing a critically acclaimed book Maruf wa Munkar, expressed his belief in the Muslim organisation and hoped that the people will make Egypt safe from the conspiracies and attacks from inside and outside and will secure the society from all the evil elements. He expressed positivism and said Egypt will form its foreign policies on principles of justice and truth, which will not only make Egypt prosperous, but the effects of it will be felt in Africa and Arabia as well.
