Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has vehemently condemned the sordid story of a whopping twenty five hundred unmarked graves that have cropped up in Kashmir. The Jamaat, while claiming the whole incident as an inhumane act and a serious crime, urged the government for its high level enquiry. The Jamaat, while exerting pressure on the government to come up with the proper identification of each and every dead body, asked for suitable compensation to the families of the victims and urged the government to give strong and exemplary punishments to the victims after filing cases against them, so that the law and justice can be proved to be in compliance with each other.
The Jamaat General Secretary, Mr Nusrat Ali said the dumping of the bodies after killing the innocents mercilessly is an example of grave exploitation of human dignity and honour. The Jamaat leader said the voices against the killings and atrocities in Kashmir have been raised from many platforms from quite a long time, yet it has not brought any change in the actions of the police and the military.
The Jamaat leader directed the attention of the government towards the issue and said the government should bring the culprits to justice and empathise with the families of the deceased by doing justice.
