A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, AMU area, along with a regional organisation visited and inspected Aligarh Jail. There they met the authorities and the officials of the jail and distributed Hindi translation of the Holy Qur’ān along with other literature containing introductory information on Islam. Later they met jail inmates in congregation and gave each one of them the translation of the Qur’ān and literature. The members of the delegation expressed satisfaction over cleanliness, hygiene, treatment facilities, food quality, administration, etc. The delegation was led by the regional Ameer Dr. Safdar Sultan Islahi.
