In a major achievement, the Rajasthan zone of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind along with Rajasthan Muslim Forum helped Engineer Rashid Hussain, who was interrogated by the investigating agency in Jaipur serial bomb blast case in 2008, get his job back in INFOSYS, the company he worked with before the interrogation. Though no agency had nominated him in any charge-sheet and he has not been in jail even for a while, the company terminated him without any prior information. The engineer told the story to the state JIH leaders and they challenged the company’s decision in High Court. Subsequently, the High Court ordered the company to pay compensation worth Rs 20 lakh to the victim and give his previous position back to him. The decree of the High Court has come after around 20 months.

Meanwhile, two persons—Narayan Bhuan and Bheru Nand Lal—were arrested on 15 March in Nanded, Maharashtra, for carrying a heavy amount of explosives. The police suspect that they were going to blast the explosives in some cities.
