It is true that the mainstream media is giving prominence to only religious leaders’ views [on (homo)sexuality] and not those of other experts – legal, medical or sociological. If you have read Dr. Javed Jamil’s The Killer Sex, you get an amazing insight into the working and strategy of these people. In a society where everyone is living a life of celibacy, there is not much money for the corporate world – pharma companies, medico professionals, advertising companies, fashion world, etc. It is only when sex is commercialised and sold like the hottest commodity, money starts flowing from a number of channels.
Keep up the good work [of opposing decriminalisation of homosexuality]. This is the sane voice which must reach to the widest range of population.
