Mr Khalid Khan has taken over as the new Vice President of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), the apex body of Export Promotion organisations in the country, set up by Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.
Before taking over as FIEO Vice President, Mr Khan served as the immediate Past Regional Chairman of FIEO Western Region for the last 6 years and previously had been Convenor and part of many important sub committees in FIEO since being elected to the Managing Committee of FIEO about a decade ago. Under his Chairmanship, FIEO Western Region has taken many new initiatives to proactively support and serve the Exporter fraternity from the region.
Earlier he had been on the Managing Committee and Panel Convenor for Internal Combustion Engines, Compressors & Parts and Regional Chairman WR with EEPC India. Mr Khan has played a pivotal role in getting various incentives to the I.C. Engine and Parts Industries. He served as Member of Export Facilitation Committee at Addl. DGFT office, Mumbai. He has also been awarded with the Honorary Membership with Order of Merit by Indian Council of Management Executives, Mumbai.
He is the Director of M/s Geco Trading Corporation Pvt. Ltd., a Govt. of India Recognised Export House. Under his able leadership, the Geco Group of Companies has expanded its export portfolio to Generators, after market Engine Parts for Trucks, Tractors, Heavy Engines & Automobiles.
The Administrator of The Scholar School, New Delhi, Qazi Muhammad Miyan was conferred with Ph.D (honoris causa) in Education from Theophany University, Republic of Haiti (North America) during a Virtual Edu Summit and Award-2021, organised by Proud Educators Fraternity of India.
The honorary Ph.D was presented in the presence of Shri Vinay Dinu Tendulkar-Member of Rajaya Sabha, DR.
