The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Bahaauddin, voiced his anger towards Turkish parliament decision allowing Turkish army to invade territories of Iraqi Kurdistan region and attack Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) premises. He called for solving the problem through dialogue and diplomacy, and that the Turkish government should stop short of carrying out any military action, because the military action does not solve any problem and it further complicates it and undermines the security situation of Iraqi Kurdistan region and all the region. He demanded the government of Kurdistan region and the federal government of Iraq to close ranks so as to avoid any aggravation of the crisis and to solve it through political means and to respect sovereignty, neighbourhood relations and to protect the security of Kurdistan region and neighbouring countries.
