LALU FOR URDU SIGNBOARDS AT DELHI RAILWAY STATION

Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad has asked Delhi Railway Station officers to prepare all official signboards at the station in the Urdu language also. He issued orders to this effect during his unannounced visit to the station on June 22.

Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad has asked Delhi Railway Station officers to prepare all official signboards at the station in the Urdu language also. He issued orders to this effect during his unannounced visit to the station on June 22.
He met passengers of Samjhauta Express standing at the platform and checked the facilities provided for them. On the request of the passengers of that train, he ordered officials to put name plates in Urdu also. He also wished them for their happy journey.
During his 30-minute stay at the station he inspected security arrangements and food facilities. The Railway Minister has made sudden visits to several railway stations in the capital during the past weeks.
