Union Law Minister should take immediate steps to implement in practice Law Commission’s delayed but justified recommendations to prevent misuse of Islamic provisions by Hindu persons in converting to Islam just to have a second wife without having any intention to actually follow Islam. Such persons like celebrity-couple Dharmendra-Hema Malini always continued following Hinduism, and even re-converted formally to Hinduism after Dharmendra had a second marriage with his earlier wife Prakash Deol alive. Union government should prevent such immoral marriages like the recent one of Anuradha (Fiza) and Chander Mohan (Chand) where also Chand (Chander Mohan) later re-converted to Hinduism making mockery of religions just for lust of enjoying a second wife.
