Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. The 9th of Dhul-Hajj, on which date the Hajj pilgrims assemble at Mount Arafat is the climax of Hajj, which culminates by the sermon, and by offering of Zuhr and Asr prayers at Arafat. All these events took place before 10.00 AM GMT. BBC radio broadcast its hourly bulletin of news after a couple of minutes at which above events were over, it had no mention of this world event for the Muslims. Alas! Muslims had their own world news channel of their own.
