Let Sec. 377 of IPC Remain Intact

Same sex relationship is unnatural, immoral, and hence condemnable. It is not only against the law of nature but also against the Qur’ān, the Bible and teachings of all other religions. India’s armed forces are also against homosexuality. Even animals do not indulge in such unnatural acts.

Its decriminalisation by High Court of Delhi is indeed shocking. It would shatter family system and throw its sinful practitioners to the lowest of the low. According to a survey by the Centre for Disease Control, USA, in the year 2005 71% of those affected with AIDS belonged to homosexual groups. Legalisation of homosexuality would alarmingly spread the dreaded disease of AIDS.

The Government must go in appeal in the Supreme Court against the Delhi HC judgement and ensure that Sec. 377 of IPC remains intact.
