The fraud in Satyam has shocked the whole country. It got detected due to the economic downturn. The economic downturn is the result of the fraud and the efforts to emerge from the financial crisis spiralled due to sub-prime crisis. The economic downturn and the incidents like Satyam scam would further affect the recession-hit economy. It is the need of the hour that there should be some serious thinking within the IT sector. We have to save the IT sector’s image worldwide. Be it a businessman, employee, employer, entrepreneur or student, everyone has to do some introspection and make an assessment of their capabilities. Let us take a step back and focus on our vision about the country.
