The Indian Muslim Malaysian Congress (Kimma) will meet the Prime Minister in a renewed bid to join the Barisan National coalition soon. Its president Mohd Fazil William Abdullah said the party, formed 33 years ago, had tried to join Barisan five times since Tun Abdul Razak was Prime Minister. He said children from the community are finding it difficult to gain entry into local universities while some had health problems requiring them to undergo dialysis. Mohd Fazil added that Kimma was more interested in playing an active role in Barisan and to ensure that Indian Muslim votes go to the coalition.
