Marriage A Curse?

This is apropos “Marriage – The Biggest Challenge of Modern Time!” (Radiance, Issue No. 39). The article presents the real picture of society today. The present irony is that Zina is easy and marriage extremely difficult and this because we are more inclined towards following cultures and tradition rather than what is in our deen.

The rich use their money to flaunt their wealth, the middle-class who does not have that much wealth gives in to the pressures of the society and makes arrangements for grand marriages by taking loans on interest and the poor face the brunt of all this as they wander into streets so that they could collect money to give dowry for their daughter. Everything which is contradicting the deen must be boycotted, be it our society or our traditions and we must make this holy alliance a blissful affair and not something that causes grief and debt.
