The world is watching with great interest and appreciation the war between Iran and US-Israel. They wonder how a small country is countering the onslaughts of America and Israel with valour, fortitude and determination.
Iran has been suffering under unjustified sanctions of the United States against it for more than four decades. It valiantly countered all conspiracies and onslaughts against it. The credit for Iran’s steadfastness goes to the brave Iranian people and their laudable leadership. First, it was Imam Ayatollah Khomeini who led the revolution against the Reza Shah regimeand restored the dignity and self-confidence of Iranians and liberated it and made it a proud, self-reliant andindependent country. After Khomeini, Khamenei led the nation with self-confidence, and the help of Almighty Allah has been always with him. He set an example of leading the Islamic Republic of Iran through very difficult and trying times.
Under the able leadership of Khamenei, Iran set the example of how a nation can face belligerent and uncooperative neighbours as well as a hegemonic big power.
America claims to be the champion of liberty but it acted as a rogue state, unprincipled power and hegemonic regime. Iran drew its strength from belief and confidence in Almighty Allah, deep sense of self-respect, self-confidence and it encouraged its people to withstand any difficulty.
Iran represents the oldest and the first empire which was established about 2500 years ago. It was revitalised when Iranian people accepted Islam and rebuilt their country on the principles of Islam andits universal message. Throughout its history as a Muslim nation, which spans the last 14 centuries, Iran has been a country which produced distinguished scholars, thinkers, philosophers, scientists and administrators.
Iran’s struggle against the US-supported regimes, especially Israel, was successful under the Islamic leadership.
Iran’s classical struggle against neo-colonialism and foreign intervention has rekindled the hopes and aspirations of the underprivileged nations all over the world. It has set the greatest and brightest example of independence, liberty, sacrifice and self-respect before all the underprivileged nations of the world. They now hope that if they follow the Iranian example, they would no longer be subjugated by the dominant and powerful nations.
Iran’s contribution to protecting the spirit of freedom, self-respect and sacrifice has opened the doors of real independence and democracy before the entire world.
If the Islamic Republic of Iran continues its policy of supporting justice, human rights and freedom, it can serve the world in a positive way and would open the way for greateracceptance of Islamic way of life. It may ensure new strength and respect for the Muslim Ummah.
Our Prime Minister Modiji needs to rethink whether it is advisable to be with the terrorist Israel state. India can earn respect of the entire world if it learns a lesson from Iran.
